153R-1X24 Super second generation binocular night vision is a compact and lightweight, rugged (metal, not plastic) top-notch performer. The KWY153R-1X24 Super second generation binocular night vision is an exceptional choice for hands free usage.

153R-1X24 Super second generation binocular night vision is a single tube Night Vision Goggles built around High Grade 18 mm HPT Image Intensifier Tube and utilizes a pseudo-Binocular design for added observation convenience. It has a built-in IR light source for close-up illumination in complete darkness.

The 153R-1X24 Night Vision Goggles are similar to the widely available AN/PVS-7 and AN/PVS-14 style Goggles. High-resolution CGT Image Intensifier, auto-brightness, bright source shut-off. HPT Image Intensifier Tubes, and new production technology has resulted in improved performance standards for resolution and Signal-to-Noise specifications.

Units with 153R-1X24 Super second generation Image Intensifier Tubes have a guaranteed resolution of 57-64 lp/mm and Signal-to-Noise Ratio of 18-22.

This model features high resolution image intensifier, auto-brightness, and bright source shut-off.
